A regional seminar on "Current Trends in Indian Economy" was held at Mar Clemis Hall on 25th january 2019 under the auspices of the Department of Economics.The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Mathew P. Joseph, Principal. Dr. Shyni T. Alexander(HOD,Dept of Economics) presided over the meeting. Dr. Martin Patrick, the former Head of the Department of Economics, Maharajas College, Ernakulam and renowned economist delivered the keynote address. Dr. Geevarghese M.Thomas, Sri.Bejoy D. Abraham took part in the discussions and deliberations of the Seminar. Growth, distribution and inclusive growth were interpreted in the seminar. An interdepartmental Quiz competition was also conducted. Fourteen teams from various departments participated in the competition.
