The department of Botany conducted a lecture series (once in a month) in this academic year. The first talk was arranged on 30/06/2021. The programme was arranged on the zoom platform at 10.30 am. Dr. Jomy Augustine (Associate Professor & head, department of Botany, St. Thomas College, Pala) delivered the lecture. The topic was conservation biology. He explained the importance of western ghats, the biodiversity and its conservation-based on his own long research experiences. Principal, Dr. Philipose Omman presided over the function. The lecture ended at 12.00 noon.
